Although WWE did away with automatic rematches some time ago, the promotion often books immediate rematches anyway. That was the case on Friday Night SmackDown this week, as Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross put the women’s tag team titles on the line against The Kabuki Warriors just less than a week after their title win over Asuka & Kairi Sane aired at WrestleMania 36.
You could argue they had an even better match here.

In the end, with Asuka on the outside, Bliss & Cross went to work on Sane. A Bliss punch sent Sane into Cross, who hit a twisting neckbreaker to score the three count and keep the women’s tag team titles on Bliss Cross Applesauce.
