Austrian world No. 105 Dennis Novak didn't feel well early on in his ATP Cup clash against 25th-ranked Argentine Guido Pella but he recovered from a set down to clinch one of his biggest wins ever.

Novak, who is ranked just one place below his career-high ranking of No. 104, started the match on the worst possible way but worked his way back into the match to stun the Argentine 0-6 6-4 6-4.

"I felt not really good in the beginning. It was a huge difference [from] two days ago, the conditions. I mean, the first set looks quite easy for him," Novak said, per the ATP Cup. "After the first set I went to a toilet break with Thomas, and I came out and changed a little bit my game and fought back in the game. I think at the end I played really good tennis."

Austria ATP Cup captain and former world No. 1 Thomas Muster came up with the right words after a first set bagel as Novak player much better in the remainder of the match.

"He (Muster) just told me to start moving better, hitting the ball, going for it, not waiting for him to miss," Novak revealed. "That's what I changed. I think I stepped in the court, and I played some really good shots."
