Jannik Sinner moved all his fans in Toronto, and not only for his victory in the final of the National Bank Open.

The Italian not only enjoyed the victory against Alex De Minaur but, after the awards ceremony and photos with his team, he gave himself to the fans for autographs and much more.

In a video released on Twitter, the Italian player was immortalized as he signed and gave one of his cuffs to a child in the stands. The little one naturally welcomed the memory left by the talented 21-year-old with joy, bursting into tears and even hugging him.

Sinner had a great week at the National Bank Open

To win the title, the Italian beat his countryman Matteo Berrettini, advanced due to the withdrawal of the British Andy Murray (injured), then defeated the French Gael Monfils conceding the only set of the entire journey, in the semifinal the American Tommy Paul and in the final, Australian Alex De Minaur, becoming the new champion of the tournament.

In an event in which all the top players were present, with the exception of Novak Djokovic, the Italian took advantage of the defeats one after the other of the big favourites, which allowed him to play for a great opportunity, exploited to the fullest.

The young superstar trained by Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill is the first Italian in history to win a Masters 1000 on hard courts, while he is the second to win a tournament in this category after Fabio Fognini (Monte-Carlo in 2019). Now the concentration for the 1000 in Cincinnati, before the US Open.

For Sinner, the good news also comes at an economic level. Jannik, thanks to his success at the Canadian master's, earned 1.019 million dollars. A rather important income that is added to those already earned in his career, for a figure that is around 10.66 million dollars, 4 of which earned in 2023 alone.

The Italian told after the win: "It's a good boost of confidence, especially in view of the US Open. It will be tough in Cincinnati because there isn't much time to adapt, but we'll ask to start on Wednesday. Hopefully, I can start mid-week so I can train some time before the debut, trying to be ready for that tournament.

Then we'll get ready for the New York Grand Slam. Let's see what positive things this victory can give me. I feel that for sure the confidence will be a little higher, but so will my expectations. We'll see how it goes in the future."
