Ronaldinho’s bail in Paraguay
It’s been a difficult time for Brazilian icon Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho, 40, has recently been released from jail in Paraguay after he entered the country with a doctored passport.
In total, Ronaldinho spent 32 days in prison in South America.
On April 7, Ronaldinho was released on bail, however he has been restricted to being on house arrest at the Hotel Palma Roga in Asuncion.

The Brazilian needed to post $1.6 million in bail to leave prison.
Rumours have swirled on social media that Ronaldinho’s former Barcelona team mate Leo Messi may have posted bail for the Brazilian.
However, in an update on his Instagram Stories, Messi has confirmed that the Ronaldinho bail story is fake news.

Another rumour doing the rounds recently has been claims Leo Messi could leave Barcelona to join Inter Milan.
Messi’s contract at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the 2020-21 season.
Will he agree a new deal to remain with the La Liga? That’s unknown at this stage.
At the same time, Messi has repeatedly spoken out against the men in charge at Barca in recent times.
Just last week, for example, Messi used his social media accounts to criticise those at the Camp Nou who had tried to suggest the players were refusing to agree wage cuts in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
Subsequently, rumours have linked Inter Milan with the Argentine.

Yet, Messi clearly has other ideas, as he’s confirmed the Inter story is a “lie”.

TNT Sports & Newell’s Old Boys
Both the Ronaldinho bail and Inter Milan transfer stories were shared by Argentine outlet TNT Sports online.
Messi is clearly upset with TNT Sports, as revealed in his social media update.
The Barcelona star added the following note to his post:
What they said in this same newspaper about Newell’s [Old Boys] a few weeks ago was also false.
Thank goodness that nobody believes them anymore.
