French tennis star Benoit Paire says the goal of going Instagram Live with Swiss Stan Wawrinka is to have a bit of fun time during the quarantine period.
Paire, 30, and 35-year-old Wawrinka have been going Instagram Live regularly since the Tour got suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In a laid-back atmosphere, the two stars speak on a various range of topics -- mostly about their life on and off the court.
At times, Paire and Wawrinka also mention some of their Tour colleagues.
"It puts a little humor in this difficult period," Paire told L'Equipe, as revealed on We Love Tennis France. "The goal of StanPairo is to have people watch us, listen to us and get to know each (one of us) better.
"We have a good time, we remember good memories from the circuit. There are also players who come to say hello to us during the live -- (Felix) Auger-Aliassime, (Marco) Cecchinato, (Cristian) Garin… ”
Earlier this week, world No. 22 Paire gave his best effort to put up a good show during his Instagram Live session with Wawrinka.
The Frenchman was drinking a Get 31 drink and reflecting on his past Grand Slam results and speaking about what to expect from him at the Majors in the future.
"I have never won, and I will never win a Grand Slam. I don't have the physical, mental capacity," former world No. 18 Paire admitted.
"You tell me, go train like crazy, I won't."
