Stefanos Tsitsipas seemingly congratulated Andrey Rublev on winning his first Masters title in Monte Carlo.
On Sunday, Rublev recovered from a set down to beat Holger Rune 5-7 6-2 7-5 in the Monte Carlo final.
For 25-year-old Rublev, it was his first Masters title in his third Masters title
Previously, Rublev was beaten by Tsitsipas in 2021 Monte Carlo Masters final and also lost to Alexander Zverev in the 2021 Cincinnati Masters title, respectively.
"He deserves it. He is a good kid," Tsitsipas tweeted.

At the 2022 ATP Finals, Rublev recovered from a set down to beat Tsitsipas 3-6 6-3 6-2.
After the match, Tsitsipas said Rublev beat him "with a few tools that he has."
“It’s a shame. I feel like the better player. I felt like I could do more with the ball today. I felt like I could just be much more creative. I don’t even have to say that. I think it’s quite obvious. But, yeah, he prevailed with the few tools that he has. He was able to really take advantage of them and win today," Tsitsipas said after losing to Rublev at the ATP Finals.
Tsitsipas' shade on Rublev quickly went viral.
When asked about those comments in December, Tsitsipas admitted it was just wrong what he did at the ATP Finals.
"What I said in that press conference against Rublev was very unfair towards him and not correct. I do regret saying that, yes. It was not very good for me. I was extremely hurt that I wasn’t able to go all the way at the ATP Finals, it hurt me a lot," Tsitsipas said in December.
But Tsitsipas has since apologized to Rublev and they appear to be on good terms right now.
Tsitsipas and Rublev have yet to meet in an ATP match this year.
