Ons Jabeur continued her dominant run at Wimbledon on Friday. The third seed beat Diane Parry 6-2, 6-3 in 68 minutes in their third-round match. Jabeur raced through the blocks right away and it wasn’t until the sixth game of the opening set that Parry was able to get a foothold in the match.

Parry's first game in the match came courtesy of a break on the Tunisian's serve and the Frenchwoman salvaged what was left of the set in the following game as she consolidated the break back. Jabeur then secured the set and the lead by serving it out to love.

The second remained on serve up to the seventh game when Jabeur broke Parry for a 4-3 lead in the set. The consolidation came quickly for Jabeur as she held her serve to love. The end of the match came quickly as well as Jabeur secured a second break of serve to clinch the win.

Wimbledon: Ons Jabeur remains rock solid

Parry's forehand proved to be a handy weapon for her against her higher-ranked rival but Jabeur's all-around game helped her offset any threat that Parry could’ve posed to her. Jabeur won 86% of her first-serve points to Parry's 55%. She also won 60% of her second-serve points to Parry's 35%. Jabeur was also effective at the net winning 76% points while Parry won 56%. In terms of winners and unforced errors, Jabeur finished with 22 winners and 14 unforced errors to her opponent hitting 14 winners and 24 unforced errors.

In the fourth round, Jabeur will play 24th seed Elise Mertens. The Belgian ousted former Wimbledon champion, Angelique Kerber in their round-of-32 meeting, 6-4, 7-5 in an hour and 20 minutes.

The other notable upset at Wimbledon came courtesy of Kerber's fellow German, Tatjana Maria. Maria took out fifth seed, Maria Sakkari, 6-3, 7-5 in an hour and 31 minutes. She’ll next play 12th seed Jelena Ostapenko who posted a strong comeback win over Irina-Camelia Begu, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 in an hour and 29 minutes.
