This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured two more qualifying matches for the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches scheduled for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on May 10, 2020.
On the men’s side, Baron Corbin got an assist from Sami Zayn’s pals to defeat Drew Gulak, setting him up to possibly win his second briefcase. The only other wrestler to do so was CM Punk, for whatever that’s worth.
On the women’s side, Lacey Evans defeated her rival, Sasha Banks, to earn entry. It wasn’t exactly a clean win but she’s still the babyface because, well, Banks is the heel. Either way, she joins Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, and Dana Brooke.
This year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches will take place at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, starting at the bottom floor and going all the way up to the roof.
