Roman Reigns has been pulled from WrestleMania

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that due to health concerns, Roman Reigns has been removed from the WrestleMania 36 card:

Sources with knowledge of the situation tell us Reigns expressed to WWE that he didn’t feel comfortable doing anymore of the Performance Center shows during the coronavirus pandemic because he’s immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia and didn’t want to risk his health.

We’re told WWE honored his request and he will now be replaced by someone else in the match against Goldberg, though it’s unclear who at this time.

Once the coronavirus pandemic created a public health crisis, it always made sense for this match to be postponed. Now WWE will find a new opponent to go up against Goldberg, making their decision to take the Universal championship off The Fiend seem even more ill-advised in hindsight.

It’s not clear from the report if Goldberg’s WrestleMania 36 match has already been taped or if that still needs to happen. It was rumored that both nights of WrestleMania 36 were supposed to be taped by the end of tonight, and a “stay at home” order is going into effect in Orlando tonight.
