Sami Callihan versus Tess Blanchard won 2019 Match of the Year. This bout gave Sami his second straight Match of the Year after the 2018 honor against Pentagon. He also took credit for making Tessa famous on her quest for legacy and proving equality.
"So @Tess_Blanchard, from the bottom of my heart - you're welcome. Because #TheDraw made you famous." @TheSamiCallihan wasn't surprised he won Match of the Year for a second year running. #IMPACTonAXSTV pic.twitter.com/AdJBa44W2c

Tessa was proud of the award. It was the first intergender main event on a PPV. It was also the hardest fought match of her life.
