Oh, hey, it’s this guy!
We haven’t seen Sheamus in what feels like forever, as he’s been out dealing with neck related issues that were reportedly worse than anyone though. There was never any talk of his retiring, though, and now we know he’ll be coming back on the blue brand.
That’s because he showed up on Friday Night SmackDown this week to cut a promo that said just that.

“SmackDown used to be the land of opportunity. It also used to be home to some of the fiercest competitors on the planet. Now, I’ve had a lot of time to sit back and watch the lay of the land, and the current state of SmackDown is pathetic. All I see are a bunch of misfits and cowards. A Fiend, a King, a Shorty G — whatever the hell that is. No one hungry, no one with a backbone, and no one like me. SmackDown has become soft, which is why now is the perfect time for the Celtic Warrior to return and ravage everything and anyone who stands in my way. SmackDown will be mine.”
Meet the new Sheamus, same as the old Sheamus.
