Get ready for some last minute changes!
The TakeOver: WarGames Kickoff show opened with the news that Mia Yim, one of the members of Rhea Ripley’s WarGames team, was attacked backstage. And because of that, she won’t be able to compete.
We feel you, @RheaRipley_WWE.

The Kickoff panel of Charley Caruso, Sam Roberts, and Pat McAfee debated who would be willing to take that spot, but with Dakota Kai left off the team, she’s likely the lock to take it.
The real question is did someone on Shayna Baszler’s team attack the Blasian Baddie or was it Dakota herself who attacked her to get that spot. We’ll have to wait and see.
While Mia was banged up during her ladder match the other week, there hasn’t been any word of an injury keeping her out of action tonight prior to this. So it’s possible this is all part of the story.
