Former world No. 4 Greg Rusedski believes that tennis is in good hands thanks to Stefanos Tsitsipas once the Big Three retire. The British pundit said: "He is the real deal. We worried what was going to happen to our game when Federer, Djokovic, Nadal go away from our game. There's no worry at all now. That was one of the best finals we have ever seen. The future of men's tennis looks very strong."

Daniela Hantuchova spoke about Federer admitting he did not play as well as he wished to also because of Tsitsipas: "When you hear that from Roger you know he means it. That is going to give Stefanos so much confidence. To be a champion like he is going to be you need that quality to play the big points like he was able to do.
