Promising British star Paul Jubb has studied the game of world No. 1 Novak Djokovic as he is impressed by the 15-time Grand Slam champion.

The 19-year-old has drawn attention to his name this grass season but he has yet to turn professional as he is playing college tennis.

Jubb, who started this month without a ranking, is now ranked at No. 472 in the world.

Jubb has already made a notable ranking jump as 686 players have a ranking on the ATP list.

"I just love the way he moves so elegantly and just the way he plays... I just love his game. I have studied Novak’s game for so long and just – that return stance, I felt comfortable doing that," Jubb revealed, per George Bellshaw of Metro UK.

Jubb couldn't clinch his maiden ATP win as 42nd-ranked Taylor Fritz was too much for him in the Eastbourne first round.

Next up for Jubb will be Wimbledon, where he is set to make his Grand Slam debut.
