Arsene Wenger vs Zinedine Zidane
One picture (see above) has gone viral this week featuring Arsene Wenger and Zinedine Zidane.
On Monday in Bordeaux, both Wenger and Zidane competed in a charity match.
Indeed, a whole host of French sporting stars participated in the event.
They included current French national team coach Didier Deschamps, plus former French captain Laurent Blanc.
Returning to the image at hand, the picture seemed to show Wenger dribbling past the current Real Madrid manager.

Video showing what actually happened
However, the truth is that Wenger didn’t Cryuff turn Zinedine Zidane.
Eye-witness video from the game showed how this Wenger vs Zidane picture came about.
The footage starts with Zidane orchestrating an attack down the right hand side.
Eventually, that attack broke down, with the ball falling to Wenger in his own box.
The former Arsenal manager then ran towards his own goal, with Zidane in close pursuit.
And, rather than Wenger tricking Zidane with his skills, Zidane ultimately won the ball back off Wenger.

Could Arsene Wenger return to Japan?
Last weekend the Sunday Times suggested that Arsene Wenger could be about to return to Japan.
Prior to joining Arsenal, Wenger was the manager of Grampus Eight.
The Times have since confirmed that Wenger has a job offer to manage once again in the J-League:
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reported to have been offered a route back into football management with Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
It is reported the Frenchman, who speaks Japanese, has been offered a two-and-a-half-year contract at £3.5m a year, and would be in charge of players who include former Barcelona stars Andres Iniesta and David Villa, and Lukas Podolski, who Wenger bought and sold while in charge at Arsenal.
