Jannik Sinner will not be going on vacation during the off-season, but will spend a few days with his family before leaving for Dubai around December 7-8. The world No. 1 has chosen the UAE as the venue for his training this year, after having always trained in Alicante (Spain) in the past.
The Italian ace - who has 73 wins in 2024 - will be followed by his coach Simone Vagnozzi, his fitness coach Marco Panichi and his physiotherapist Ulises Badio. His goal is to improve further in view of next season, in which all opponents will try to beat him and he will have to defend a lot of points.

Jannik has won eight titles this year including two Majors, three Masters 1000, the ATP Finals in Turin and two ATP 500. The Italian was also decisive for his country's second consecutive triumph at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.
Thanks to the points won in 2024, Sinner is certain to remain at the top of the ATP ranking even after the 2025 Australian Open (in which he will have to defend the title won this year). After the first Major tournament of the new season, the world number 1 should know the verdict of the CAS in Lausanne regarding his doping case.
Update on Sinner’s futureThe 2-time Grand Slam champion has had to deal with a very stressful situation in recent months and has figured out who his true friends are. The Italian player was found innocent by ITIA, having believed his version of events, but WADA's appeal has opened a new trial that could lead to a ban of Jannik from 12 to 24 months.
On the latest edition of the ‘Served with Andy Roddick’ podcast, top analyst Jon Wertheim opened up on Sinner’s future: “The defending champion and the player that beat him last year may not be in the draw as he is pending a doping appeal. If Jannik Sinner is not in the draw, would you bet against the guy who has won this thing ten times previously?”
According to the latest rumors, the trial relating to Sinner's case should take place in the second half of February. It is not easy to find a suitable date considering that the defendant is a player who is often around the world to participate in various tournaments.
Despite this bad story, there is no doubt that Jannik has been truly incredible this year. Sinner's 2024 is one of the best seasons of the modern era, having suffered only six losses and having won at least one set in all the matches played. The world number 1 has started a new era, in which his great rival Carlitos Alcaraz will have to take a further step to keep up with his pace.
Despite winning Roland Garros and Wimbledon in the same season, the 21-year-old Spaniard ended 2024 with a gap of almost 5000 points from the Italian in the ATP ranking (Carlitos is also behind German ace Sascha Zverev).
Jannik impressed NoleJannik's level has impressed everyone, including a legend like Novak Djokovic. The 24-time Grand Slam champion has been defeated by Sinner in his last three official clashes (at the 2023 Davis Cup Finals, the 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 Rolex Shanghai Masters).
During a long interview with ‘Sportweek’, the Serbian legend paid tribute to the Italian star: "I remember Sinner when he was 14/15 years old and, even then, people spoke well of him. You could see that he would have a great career. I'm not surprised to see him at this level today. I like Jannik because he always wants to improve.”
Nole also added: "It seems to me that he is doing well even without my advice! Anyway, it is one thing to win the first two Grand Slam titles and become No. 1, another to stay at this level for so many years. But it seems to me that Jannik has understood what he needs."

In the last twelve months, hard work has produced its results and the Italian ace has become very strong on all surfaces.
Sinner has really improved a lot from a physical point of view and has worked well on his game, especially on his serve, which has become a really dangerous weapon for all his opponents.
