The Kazakh tennis player Alexander Bublik has launched a dig directed at Jannik Sinner, regarding the words released by the young Italian on the sidelines of The Six Kings Slam, when he said he played in Riyadh to face the best tennis players and not for the rich prize money put up for grabs by the PIF Saudi investment fund.

After winning the exhibition event in Riyadh, the ATP No.1 shared words that sparked hilarity among some other tennis players, just think of the irreverent post - complete with laughter - by Stan Wawrinka.

A few days ago, Sinner actually said: "I don't play for money, it's very simple. Of course, 6 million euros is a lot of prize money, but I went to Riyadh because there were probably the six best players in the world and you can measure yourself against them. It was also a nice event, it was my first time in Riyadh and it was very nice. When you come back as a winner, for me it was more like saying: OK, I played the matches in the right way and I hope that this can improve me as a player for the future."

Bublik, in an interview with Tennis Channel, did not miss an opportunity to attack his Italian colleague. In fact, when the media reminded Bublik that this was a great year that gave him victories and allowed him to earn a lot of money, the Kazakh joked: "Well, as Jannik Sinner says, money isn't everything!" words after which the entire studio where the interview was recorded exploded in laughter.
