Carlos Alcaraz admitted that he was "nervous" seeing Real Madrid stars coming to watch his Madrid Masters third-round match.
Alcaraz, who is now the top-ranked Spanish male tennis player, ousted Grigor Dimitrov 6-2 7-5 at Caja Magica.
Several Real Madrid stars - Vinicius Junior, Fede Valverde, Dani Ceballos and Rodrygo - all came to watch the 19-year-old Spanish tennis star.
“I still get nervous, I’m not going to lie. Seeing giants like them in the stands. I’m so happy that they would come to see my match," Alcaraz said after the match, per the ATP website.

After Alcaraz beat Dimitrov, he was congratulated by the Real Madrid players.
Also, Alcaraz wished them good luck in their upcoming Champions League semifinal leg against Manchester City.
“We spoke about how well I played today, and their latest results. We discussed what is coming up for them against [Manchester] City. I wished them luck and they did likewise to me," Alcaraz said.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz broke Dimitrov twice in the first set to easily win the opener.
In the second set, Dimitrov had a 4-2 lead before Alcaraz responded with breaks in the seventh and 11th games to overturn the deficit and complete a two-set win.
In his next match, Alcaraz plays against Alexander Zverev.
Alcaraz and Zverev will be meeting for the fifth time.
"I really want to play that match. We played a few times, head-to-head he is up. I really want to show my great level here in front of my home crowd. I have great memories from last year in the final but obviously I have to be really focussed in that match. I know that Sascha is a really good player, a really aggressive one with good serves. I have to show all my skills," Alcaraz said of facing Zverev.
