Coach Patrick Mouratoglou thinks Rafael Nadal's warrior mindset is the biggest source of the Spaniard's inner motivation to keep going.
Nadal, 36, is widely considered one of the biggest competitors in tennis history.
Throughout his career, Nadal has battled numerous challenges and adversity.
But Nadal never gave up and always managed to find a way to come out on top.
"Rafa loves the fight. He feels excellent when going into battle. And he likes this feeling. He is a warrior. Rafa's fuel is to be able to compete at the highest level. When things get difficult and rough, this is when he gives his best effort. The more the pressure, the more he delivers," Mouratoglou said in a video uploaded on his Instagram.

While Nadal loves to fight and come out on top in difficult situations, Djokovic never seems to be satisfied as the Serb is always striving for more.
Earlier this year, Djokovic broke Steffi Graf's all-time record for the most weeks spent at the world No 1 spot.
Djokovic's next big goal is to beat Nadal in the race for the all-time Grand Slam record.
But even after all of his stunning achievements, Djokovic is still as motivated as ever to achieve success.
"Novak wants to dominate. He wants to be above and he wants to be the king. It's in his DNA. He has something to prove, which is not a negative thing at all. It's his motivation and it led him to accomplish things that nobody thought were possible except for him," Mouratoglou said.
Meanwhile, both Nadal and Djokovic are out of the Madrid Masters.
Nadal hasn't played since the Australian Open due to the psoas injury and he is in a tough situation just a month before the French Open.
After Nadal's withdrawal, Djokovic also decided to skip Madrid.
