Novak Djokovic is through to his 13th Australian Open quarter-final following an incredible performance against Alex de Minaur. Djokovic did not feel pain in his left leg, moving as in his best days and outplaying the rival on serve and return. John Millman praised the Serb's performance, calling it tennis from a different planet. Also, the Aussie felt "relieved" after taking three games from Novak at Queen's 2018. Djokovic played at Queen's for the first time in eight years and ousted a qualifier Millman 6-2, 6-1 in swift 65 minutes. Struggling with an elbow injury, it was Novak's 15th victory of the season, playing well from start to finish and gaining confidence ahead of Wimbledon. Djokovic and Millman met for the first time, and the Serb had the upper hand on the fast surface.

However, Millman squandered a 40-15 lead in game five and dropped four points in a row to experience a break and push Djokovic in front. Novak fired a service winner in game six to confirm his advantage and grabbed another break a few minutes later following a volley winner at the net.
The Serb raced toward the opening set with four service winners at 5-2, doing everything right and closing the set in 28 minutes. John sprayed a forehand error at the start of the second set and got broken for the third straight time. Novak served well in games two and four to build a 3-1 advantage and move closer to the finish line. The fifth game lasted 14 minutes, which was the only reason the encounter passed the one-hour mark. Djokovic created six break points and seized the last to grab a break and move 4-1 in front. The Serb landed three service winners in game six and forced the Aussie to serve to stay in the match at 1-5. Novak clinched another break with a return winner, sealing the deal in no time and looking good on grass.
