Andy Roddick compares Iga Swiatek's style to Mike Tyson

Former world No. 1 Andy Roddick isn't concerned at all by Iga Swiatek missing Madrid as she expects the Pole to be at her best at the French Open. 

Swiatek kicked off her clay season by winning Stuttgart but then decided to withdraw from Madrid due to a shoulder injury. 

After withdrawing from Madrid, Swiatek gave herself a few days to treat the injury and also hit the practice court. 

A few days ago, Swiatek arrived to Rome and noted that her health is now perfectly fine. 

Swiatek has won her last 23 matches and she hasn't had a loss since mid-February. 

"When you have won it as much as she has and has made it habitual, your health going into Roland Garros is priority one," Roddick said on Tennis Channel, as quoted on Tennis Up To Date. "She is not going to forget how to go after the ball, taking a week off from Madrid."

One of the things that stand out in Swiatek's game this season is her aggressiveness. 

Swiatek is now more more aggressive and she goes for her shots. 

Also in 2022, Swiatek went from a good hard court player to a dominant force on the surface. 

"We knew she was a dogged competitor, already a major champion before this move," Roddick noted. "And the fact that she has been able to roll it out in match circumstances and is way better, she just dominates now.

"It’s like Tyson, when he used to fight back in the days and he would just walk up and start punching people. There was no dancing around. She just hits people in the mouth now. It’s fun to watch."

Swiatek is set to return to action in Rome, where she made it all the way last year. 

Swiatek missed Madrid but still she is the top favorite to win Rome.
