The European Tour has withdrawn Sweden’s Niklas Lemke from the 2021 Austrian Golf Open after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Lemke was required to take an onsite PCR test following his opening round at Diamond Country Club, after being identified as a close contact of compatriot Joel Sjöholm. Sjöholm had withdrawn from the tournament on Wednesday due to injury and subsequently tested positive on Thursday for his exit PCR test.
