The Raw after WrestleMania is traditionally the biggest episode of the year, featuring call ups from NXT, big debuts, major returns, and more. This year is a bit different, what with the ongoing pandemic, but that doesn’t mean WWE hasn’t given us at least some of that.
Bianca Belair acted as the call up earlier in the evening and Nia Jax made her return from double knee surgery later in the night.
Her first match back was against NXT star Deonna Purrazzo, who was there just to put the returning star over. It was, effectively, a squash match that commentary put over as a message to the Becky Lynch’s of the world that “no one is safe.”
