What was 'Match of the Night' at TakeOver: XXV?

NXT has put a bow around its TakeOver: XXV live event from Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Webster Bank Arena as the promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Sat., June 1, 2019) with the Undisputed ERA celebrating Adam Cole winning the NXT championship from Johnny Gargano after another grueling showdown between those two rivals.

Was it the best match on the card?

That was the only gold the ERA won tonight, but they continued to prove to be NXT’s MVPs throughout this TakeOver. Roderick Strong & Matt Riddle tore the house down as the King of Bros won the opener, then Street Profits helped tear it down again a match latter when they won tag gold in a ladder match where Undisputed’s Kyle O’Reilly literally sacrificed his body. Champions Velveteen Dream and Shayna Baszler retained in bouts which didn’t have the highs of the others, but weren’t without merit.
