Sergi Bruguera speaks very highly of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic

Former two-time French Open champion Sergi Bruguera has a high opinion about world No. 1 Novak Djokovic but says his pick to win it all on the clay of Roland Garros this year is record 11-time champion Rafael Nadal. 

Both Nadal and Djokovic have reached the latter stages of the French Open as the Spaniard is bidding to continue his French Open domination, while the Serb is motivated to win Roland Garros and claim a Calendar Grand Slam for the second time in his career. 

Nadal, ranked at No. 2 in the world, will be taking on record 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in the final, while top-seeded Djokovic is due to meet German Alexander Zverev in the quarter-final. 

Former world No. 1 Nadal and 15-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic could potentially meet in the French Open final on Sunday. 

"On clay I'm always picking Rafa, there is no doubt. I don't know, Rafa has 11 titles in Paris, while Novak has one -- now that's a difference. I could never imagine in my life that someone could win Roland Garros 11 times nor I have seen a player with a mentality like Nadal has -- like he is not a human, it's that mentality... Plus he is a perfect player, especially on clay. Of course, Novak is also a monster, among the three greatest ever and he is capable of beating Nadal but my favorite is Rafa," Bruguera exclusively told Sport Klub.
