Elias loses his first title in WWE

The long, storied 24/7 title reign of R-Truth is not over.

Thanks to some help from Roman Reigns, Truth is once again your new WWE 24/7 Champion. This week on SmackDown, Truth lost the 24/7 title to Elias but then gained it back at the conclusion of the night’s main event.

Truth was booked in a tag team match with Reigns versus Elias and Drew McIntyre, with the 24/7 rules announced as paused by Shane McMahon so the new champion could focus on the night’s main event.

McMahon bent the 24/7 rules but The Big Dog found a loophole.
