Shane McMahon actually made a really interesting choice on SmackDown.
One week ago, The Hardy Boyz were forced to vacate the SmackDown tag team titles after Jeff Hardy was deemed unable to compete due to injury. Without champions for the division, McMahon was tasked with awarding the titles to a new team.
McMahon made his choice and it was a team that wasn’t even listed as an option in a WWE.com poll from last week.

Before Daniel Bryan and Rowan could grab onto the titles, Jimmy and Jey Uso made their way from Raw over to SmackDown to call out McMahon.
The Usos were able to talk McMahon into giving them a shot at the vacant titles and the match was made on the spot. With both teams unable to afford a loss, the match felt like a pay-per-view quality contest.

With multiple near falls, each team had plenty of opportunities to put their opponents away. After a mini superkick party took Bryan out of the match, The Usos could not find a way to keep Rowan down. A missed kick from Jey Uso turned into a Clawslam from Rowan and it was enough to get the 1-2-3.
What do you think about Daniel Bryan and Rowan moving into the tag team division moving forward?
