The PGA Tour golfers complete the weekend of hard work by completing the fourth and decisive round of the Procore Championship (prize money of 6 million dollars). The event born in 2007 and known in the past with the names of Fortinet Championship and Safeway Open smiles on Patton Kizzire. The American limits himself to managing the advantage margin by finishing the fourth round with a comfortable -2.

Kizzire closes his weekend with an overall score of -20 (268 strokes) distancing his compatriot David Lispky by 5 lengths and Patrick Fishburn by 6. Fourth position with a score of -13 for the trio composed of Canadians Mackenzie Hughes and Ben Silverman, and the American Greyson Sigg. The last round was made more difficult by the weather conditions that did not allow results capable of overturning the ranking.

On the par 72 course of the Silverado Country Club in Napa (California, United States of America), the top ten in seventh place with -12 are the Canadian Corey Conners and the Americans Austin Smortherman, Justin Lower, Sahit Theegala and Tom Hoge. The latter is one of the best of the day thanks to an excellent -4 that allows him to climb 14 positions. Wesley Bryan does even better, climbing to 13th place thanks to an excellent -5 that allows him to climb 34 steps.

For Kizzire, thirty-eight years old from Montgomery (Alabama, United States of America), the success achieved in Napa is the fifth of his career as a professional and the third on the PGA Tour after the OHL Classic at Mayakoba 2017 and the Sony Open in Hawaii 2018, won in the playoffs after 6 holes of play-off. The PGA Tour will restart in Canada next weekend with the President Cup.

The rules of golf are relatively complicated compared to other sports because they are played outdoors, close to nature and animals. Respecting the rules is a basic element in the game of golf, which, almost always based on self-control and the free conscience of the players, often sees distorted results, sometimes consciously, but often unconsciously or through carelessness, due to the failure of many players to comply with the rules of the game. In addition to the rules, golf adheres to a code of conduct, known as etiquette, which generally means playing the game with due respect for the golf course and other players. Etiquette is an essential component of this sport.
