Alex de Minaur rips the Roland Garros board for the controversial schedule

Today Alex De Minaur played the 4th round match of the Roland Garros against the Russian Daniil Medvedev, for a place in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The Australian tennis player qualified for the round of 16 of the Parisian Slam by beating the German Jan-Lennard Struff with a score of 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-3.

At the press conference, de Minaur focused on a problem that emerged very clearly in this edition of the Parisian Slam, characterized by rain. This is the advantage that players who are always programmed on covered courts such as the Philippe Chatrier and Suzanne Lenglen have compared to other players.

"There are clearly two different tournaments. Unlike us, the best players did not suffer any interruptions and had quite routine schedules. I don't know how I will manage the match from start to finish. It will be a different experience, a completely different tournament . There are clearly two different tournaments, as the best players are used to playing on these courses. They have routine schedules, normal games, not games that start and stop all the time. I couldn't wait to win enough games to be able to play on a pitch like that. I am very happy to play against Medvedev. This is the type of game I wanted to play at the beginning of the week," he explained.

De Minaur himself who had to deal with numerous interruptions during his matches. And he did not fail to underline this fact.
