Max Homa is a golfer who attracts immense attention when it comes to this year's PGA Championship. The 33-year-old golfer achieved his best result in 2022 at the PGA Championship when he finished T13.

In today's interview for British GQ, Homa spoke on various topics, touching on golf but also many other topics outside the realm of golf. Homa is a golfer who attracts huge attention, and that happened this time as well.

One of the interesting topics of conversation was his relationship with golf. Homa can get tired of everything, from playing on tournaments to the conflicts that have been prevailing for two years now. The reporter had an interesting question for him, hinting at whether Homa feels tired even when it comes to polo shirts.

"Oh man, I’m a member at a couple of golf courses that don't have a dress code but I still wear a polo golf shirt every time I go. As much as I wish we could wear shorts at times, I actually think golfers look better in pants too. There’s something about the polo: you know that person means business. However, I'm very open to the variations of it, like the blade collar that Nike has done with Tiger."- Max Homa said.

The reporter was interested in why Homa always wears a cap.

Homa talked about his hair, stating that while people often compliment its fullness, he's aware of thinning in other areas.

He reflected on a recurring joke among his friends about his penchant for wearing LA Dodgers hats. While he's tried to diversify his headwear, he's considering returning to the Dodgers hat trend with the onset of baseball season.

Regarding shopping habits, Homa admitted to rarely going shopping lately. His essentials mainly consist of Lululemon socks and boxers. He mentioned his wife's influence on his wardrobe choices, including light-colored jeans that he appreciates in theory but feels unsure about when wearing them.

Max Homa, much like any boy his age, spent time playing PS2 and enjoying those moments. The 33-year-old admitted to playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on PS2. Now that he's a grown man, it seems he doesn't have time for such things, but he mentions occasionally playing Call of Duty, although he's not satisfied with his skill level in the game. Sometimes it's difficult to organize his time, especially when you're a father, and with numerous tournaments behind and ahead of you.

"Yeah. PGA Tour and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater were the classics. Now I only play Call of Duty and I * at it so bad. I keep saying I want a division where it's other working dads who have almost no time on their hands to be good. It's just very demoralising to come home, be really excited to play after a long road trip and then just get worked over for three hours. I need a beginner's level.."

Homa explained that he keeps his trophies at home in his office. He had shelves installed behind his desk, where he proudly displays his trophies. Among them, he holds a special appreciation for the Genesis Invitational trophy from his hometown of Los Angeles. He particularly cherishes this trophy as it represents an important moment in his career, being presented to him by none other than Tiger Woods himself.

Growing up in southern California, Homa feels a connection to Woods, who also played in many of the junior events he participated in. Woods' remarkable record is something Homa admires and respects.

Tiger Woods has been an idol to many professional golfers who are now among the main faces on the golf scene. Tiger is remarkable in many aspects, so it's not surprising why there is so much admiration from young players towards him. Considering everything he has achieved in his career, many have expressed that it's an honor to share the golf course with the illustrious Woods.

Homa also spoke about his beginnings on the golf scene when he obtained his PGA Tour card in 2013. He emphasized that not much has changed since then, except for the place where he lives and the fact that traveling 50 minutes at midnight back home was not a problem for him.
