In an interview with the ATP Tennis Radio Podcast, former American tennis player Jill Craybas touched on many topics, focusing on different generations of tennis players. The former winner of the 2002 Japan Open Tennis Championships focused on the Big 3 and the GOAT race, stating how Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have always tried to outdo each other. "Nadal, Djokovic and Federer all forced each other to raise their level, but I don't think anyone in the men's game necessarily overpowered the other. I think that's where you see the incredible adaptability of all of them. These players I'm able to adapt as quickly as I can to become better, faster, stronger. I think that's been through the roof, especially in the last 10 to 15 years," she explained.

Craybas also expressed her opinion regarding the rise of Coco Gauff. The former American tennis player analyzed how Venus and Serena Williams influenced the career of the young winner of the 2023 US Open. "Coco Gauff talks about it all the time, how Venus and Serena Williams were idols to her, and look at her now, like she was able to shine and be open. And she spoke so well. Now she's at such a young age, having that impact on the younger generation that's emerging now, and she's still very young herself." she said.

Finally, Craybas opened up about what made her legendary countrywoman Serena Williams. Jill analyzed how opponents had to adapt their tennis to the power of the 23-time Slam champion. "I feel like I've seen so often Federer, Nadal, Djokovic being able to do it and many times Serena too. She's always in the middle because she has to adapt, step up and in a way where sometimes they can flip a switch and then all of a sudden saying just not feeling comfortable, and all of a sudden being able to figure things out in a way that they get those wins. I think Serena has forced a lot of players to step up their game, coming in with a little more of pace and adapting with the power he brought," she told.
