Spanish tennis legend Conchita Martinez thinks the love relationship between Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas can definitely have a very positive impact on their careers if it is "love done right." Since publicly confirming their relationship in early June, Badosa and Tsitsipas have spoken several times about their desire to achieve their biggest goals together. Most notably, the two dream of becoming Grand Slam champions and reaching the world No 1 ranking together. Martinez, the 1994 Wimbledon champion, was asked how she thinks Badosa's relationship with Tsitsipas could impact her career. "It depends on how they manage the relationship. It can be very positive, because it seems that love is there and love is good. They both understand perfectly well what they have to do to be up there and they can push each other to get the best out of themselves. I have read statements that they would like to win a Grand Slam together... Well you have to be willing to work and try to chase your dreams. Love done right doesn’t have to be negative," Martinez told CLAY.

Martinez thinks Badosa's relationship with Tsitsipas could positive impact her career

Earlier this year, Badosa was forced to miss the Australian Open due to an injury, while Tsitsipas made the final at Melbourne Park - in which he was beaten by Novak Djokovic. After starting a love relationship with Tsitsipas, Badosa told about a dream she had earlier this year. “Yeah, well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course, I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match. Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open. Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I'm not going to explain. I'm just going to leave it there,” Badosa said in July.
