Although she didn't console or congratulate Novak Djokovic for his Wimbledon run, Serena Williams reacted when Djokovic equalized her Grand Slam record. Djokovic tied Williams' record of 23 Grand Slam titles. Williams, however, kept her message short: "Congrats @djokernole," Williams captioned an Instagram Story. "Huge honor to be sharing the #23 with you, Serena," Djokovic wrote on his Instagram Story hours after lifting his 23rd Grand Slam title.
Novak Djokovic also congratulated Carlos Alcaraz with a speech that was described as classy and exemplary. "In the past I've been one step away from losing finals, but I've won epic matches.
I think it's a divine tacit agreement, it can happen even if it really hurts to lose a final.The merit is all of Alcaraz, he was extraordinary in the important moments and playing that way at his age, an ability to manage nerves in an impressive way.
