Emma Raducanu posted a video of surprising LTA Youth at the LTA National Tennis Centre as the 2021 US Open had quite a fun time with the next generation of British tennis players.
As Raducanu was hiding behind the curtains and giggling, kids were asked to name their favorite players - the majority of them named Raducanu.
When Raducanu revealed herself, the kids looked in disbelief as they couldn't believe that their idol was there the whole time.
Also, Raducanu chatted a bit with the kids.
One kid was asked if he had any advice for Raducanu, to which he replied: "Try to practice a bit more."
Raducanu burst into laughter after hearing the response from the kid.
One kid was also asked whether he wanted a picture with Raducanu - he declined.
Raducanu giving proceeds from her tennis lessons to British kidsRaducanu has been sidelined since early May, when she announced she was having surgeries on both wrists and her ankle.
For quite some time, Raducanu was struggling with injuries and she decided it was time her for to undergo surgeries.
Last week, it was reported that Raducanu was offering online tennis lessons through a virtual app for $2,000.
Recently, Raducanu teamed up with the virtual app AirWayz.
After British media reported that Raducanu was offering online tennis lessons for $2,000, AirWayz came to Raducanu's defense, underlining that all the proceeds were going to the LTA Youth Programme.
"What they don’t mention is that proceeds are going to the LTA Youth Program," AirWayz tweeted.
A couple of days later, Raducanu visited the LTA National Tennis Centre to spend some time with the kids.
Judging by the video posted by Raducanu, both the British tennis and the kids had a very fun time.
Meanwhile, Raducanu is set to miss Wimbledon and the entire grass season.
It remains to be seen when will Raducanu make her comeback.
