Alps Tour, statements

The blue started the final round with a margin shot on Addabbo and Galliano keeping up the pace with three birdies on the first eight holes. After a bogey at 11, which restored hope to the opponents, he put them definitively out of the game with three more birdies in the last seven for the winning 66 (-5). A double bogey at the 13th took Galliano out of the race. Addabbo, always in the wake of the winner (70, -1, three birdies, two bogeys) with a bogey in the 17th round brought Romano back into play. Andrea, author of a great 63 (-8, eight birdies), best score of the day, thus hooked him on second place after a spectacular comeback from 30th position.

Luca Cianchetti, bearer of the Modena Golf & Country Club, returns to success two years after the victory at the Red Sea Little Venice Open 2021. “I am very happy to have won in Croara – he said at the end of the third lap -. Here I won a Pro am a few years ago, I have played numerous junior events and I feel very comfortable on the course. More importantly, being from Modena, in the same region as the Croara Country Club, I am very pleased to have won on home soil."

Cianchetti takes home 6,525 points in the Alps Tour order of merit and a check for 5,800 euros.

The next event on the Alps Tour calendar is set for June 15-17 at the Isla Canela Golf Links in Ayamonte, Spain.

The affirmation of the 27-year-old marks the good moment of Italian golf. The success follows that of Matteo Manassero (Copenhagen Challenge) and Andrea Pavan (D+D Real Czech Challenge), both on the Challenge Tour.

Luca Cianchetti was born in Modena on 22 September 1995. A member of Modena G&CC, he started practicing at the age of 11.
