The Masters is the most coveted tournament on the green. The first edition was played in 1934 - on the initiative of Bobby Jones - as the Augusta National Invitation Tournament and Horton Smith prevailed, who then managed to drop the encore of successes in 1936. The record of victories (six) belongs instead to Jack Nicklaus , the Golden Bear who is also the one who has won the most Grand Slam tournaments in his career (18). And again: the oldest winner of the tournament (he won for the sixth time in 1986 at the age of 46 years, 2 months and 23 days). While there are five exploits by Tiger Woods at the Masters, who this year will play the coveted tournament for the 25th time in his career. The title will be defended from 6 to 9 April by the American Scottie Scheffler, world number 1, who will try to become the first player since 2001-2002 (Woods) to win consecutively in this Major.
