Novak Djokovic was left with only shorts and socks after seemingly gifting all of his clothes and accessories to Serbian fans in Adelaide.

On Sunday, Djokovic saved a championship point to beat Sebastian Korda in the Adelaide final 6-7 (8) 7-6 (3) 6-4.

Throughout the entire week, Djokovic enjoyed great support in Adelaide.

The Serbian community in Adelaide came out to support Djokovic and the Serb certainly benefited from their outstanding support.

After winning his second Adelaide title, Djokovic took a moment to sign autographs and hand out souvenirs to his supporters.

Djokovic in great spirits ahead of the Australian Open

Going into the Australian swing, nobody really knew how would Djokovic's return to Australia go.

In his first tournament of the season, Djokovic played great tennis and also received strong support.

The Adelaide campaign could not have gone any better for Djokovic, who is now full of confidence ahead of the Australian Open.

"I couldn’t ask for a better preparation and lead-up to Australian Open. Of course, Australian Open is the biggest reason why I’m here in Australia, but at the same time I want to win every tournament I play on, regardless of the level of the tournament. I love playing in Australia. I mean, my results are a testament to that. I wouldn’t be able to play so well in a place where I don’t feel well. I look forward to Melbourne. Rod Laver is probably my most — not probably, it certainly is my most successful court in my career. I love playing there. I look forward to it. I have a week off for recovery now and working on specific things in terms of my game, my body, getting my mind in the right state for the best-of-five and two long weeks hopefully," Djokovic said after winning Adelaide.

Going into the Australian Open, many have Djokovic as the No 1 favorite for the title.
