American Congresswoman Claudia Tenney says she can't watch the US Open after Novak Djokovic was "wrongly denied" access to the final Grand Slam of the season.
Last Thursday, Djokovic officially pulled out of the US Open after he was denied entry into the United States because of his vaccination status.
"I have been a major fan of US Open Tennis since I got my first yellow 'Miss Chris' tennis racket over 45 years ago. I cannot even watch now because the great @DjokerNole has been wrongly denied access to the event," Tenney tweeted.

Shortly after Djokovic pulled out of the US Open, American tennis player Tennys Sandgren unloaded on the USTA.
Sandgren accused the USTA of "not even trying" to help Djokovic enter the United States.
Tennis Majors contacted the USTA for a comment following Sandgren's comments.
The USTA responded by claiming they could not have asked for a Djokovic exemption even if they wanted to.
“The USTA was in regular contact with several departments within the United States Federal Government including the Department of Homeland Security, Customs & Border Control and the State Department,” the statement said. “In all instances, we were informed that the US Government was no longer considering third party applications for National Interest Exemptions. Only NIE’s submitted by the individual seeking the NIE would be reviewed by the appropriate department or authorities regarding entrance of unvaccinated non-US citizens.
Djokovic has now missed two Grand Slams in 2022.
Earlier this year, Djokovic was denied participation at the Australian Open.
After getting deported from Australia, Djokovic said nothing changed in his vaccine views.
Djokovic remains unvaccinated and there have been no signs that he plans on taking the vaccine anytime soon.
Earlier this year, Djokovic stated that he is aware of the consequences his vaccine stance might bring.
