The “Road to Mallorca” makes a stop in Scotland. The Hawkshill Championship Course, in Newmachar, near Aberdeen, is ready to host the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge supported by The R&A, a Challenge Tour tournament that will take place from 26 to 29 May. Six blues will be competing: Matteo Manassero (currently 26th and best Italian in the order of merit of the second men's continental circuit), Lorenzo Scalise, Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, Federico Maccario, Aron Zemmer and Enrico Di Nitto.

On 24 October 2010, Manassero won the Castelló Masters in Spain, becoming the youngest winner of a European Tour tournament at 17 years, 6 months and 5 days. The record was previously held by New Zealander Danny Lee, winner of the Johnnie in February 2009. Walker Classic.
