Legends Tour, Euan McIntosh won first event

Euan McIntosh won the Riegler & Partner Legends, the first tournament of the 2022 season of the Legends Tour which took place on the course of the Murhof Golf Club (par 72) in Frohnleiten, Austria. The Scotsman won with a total of 206 (69 64 73, -10) shots ahead of South African James Kingston second with 207 (-9). Third place with 208 (-8) for the trio formed by the Brazilian Adilson Da Silva (leader at the end of the first lap), the Swedish Joakim Haeggman and the French Marc Farry. Two blues who started the event: Costantino Rocca and Emanuele Canonica, who respectively closed 40 / o with 218 (73 71 74, +2) and 52 / o with 221 (68 76 77, +5).

For Euan McIntosh this is the first career success on the European men's circuit reserved for over 50s, succeeding in the roll of honor the Argentine Mauricio Molina, winner in 2021. The Glasgow native is the first Scotsman to win on the Legends Tour since 2019 , the last was Paul Lawrie.

The 53-year-old, who started the final day with a three-stroke lead after a brilliant 64 on Saturday, recovered from the comeback to win the Riegler and Partners legends at Golfclub Murhof in Austria.
