Carlos Alcaraz, at the age of 18 year-old and 333 days, became the third youngest player in history to win a Masters 1000. Only Michael Chang and Rafael Nadal have done better than him. The Spanish talent conquered the Miami Open expressing a tennis of the highest level and beating Casper Ruud in two sets in the final.

Sinner wrote on his Instagram account: "It was not easy to retire to Miami. It was a complicated month for me. I have rested for the past few days and received some advice on the condition of my feet. I hope I'm ready for Monte Carlo."
