Earlier today, Triple H laid down the challenge to former NFL punter Pat McAfee for a match against Adam Cole on Aug. 22 at NXT TakeOver: XXX.

Adam Cole first responded to Triple H’s challenge by saying he’s going to kick McAfee’s ass:

Let me make this crystal clear for everyone, especially you @PatMcAfeeShow...Hunter is the one who can make this match happen, but I will be the one kicking your ass at #TakeOverXXX...if you’re as bad as you think you are, accept. I dare you.

McAfee then released a video where he accepted the match:

I kicked @AdamColePro’s head off of his body last night on #WWENXT.

I didn’t want to do it, I HAD to do it. He ASSAULTED me with a bottle.

Then I got physically kicked out of the building by @TripleH.

With both parties agreeing to the fight, it’s now been made official for Aug. 22 at NXT TakeOver: XXX.
