KO helps Street Profits win a match straight out of Raw

Street Profits and Seth Rollins & Murphy had their second PPV Raw Tag title PPV match in the last two weeks on Sun., Mar. 8. At Elimination Chamber in Philadelphia. The belts were around different waists than they were at Super ShowDown in Riyadh, however. That’s because last Monday on Raw, Kevin Owens ran interference against Rollins posse to help Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins win the championship.

In what seems to be a theme for this event, it was a solid match that didn’t really change much of anything. Elimination Chamber seems built to be fun but not rock the boat too much before WrestleMania 36.

In what’s definitely been a theme for the Monday Night Messiah’s storyline, an assortment of red brand babyfaces got involved to cancel out members of his team. First, it was Viking Raiders, who were victorious on the Kickoff, who ran in to chase off AOP.

Then it was Kevin Owens. After Tower of Doom spot left all four men laying, KO came in through the crowd with a box of popcorn. He threw some in Seth’s face, which allowed Dawkins to take him out. With Murphy isolated, the Profits proved they weren’t one and done. A Tez Frog Splash led to Murphy getting pinned.

Post-match, The Messiah berated his acolyte. That allowed Kevin to sneak up behind him, put his popcorn down, and hit Seth with a Stunner.

We’re one step closer to Owens vs. Rollins at ‘Mania.
