The Undisputed Era interrupt a perfectly good SmackDown tag team title match

When my main man Sean let us know that Adam Cole and his crew were backstage at Friday Night SmackDown in Philadelphia, it seemed obvious how WWE would go about using them. Sure enough, they showed up during the tag team title match that saw The New Day putting their straps on the line against The Revival.

Here’s the thing: The Undisputed Era are great, hugely entertaining, all that good stuff, but they interrupted what was actually a fantastic title match between two teams who have been consistently excellent and being given enough time to be just that! If I’m supposed to be pissed at them, well, it worked! I am!

New Day, then, retain the SmackDown tag team titles and will still be going on to Survivor Series to wrestle Undisputed Era and the Viking Raiders.
