Former British doubles world No. 1 Jamie Murray was extremely satisfied with the way he and Neal Skupski performed against Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik and Mikhail Kukushkin in the decisive rubber of the tie.

Germany had already secured a place in the quarterfinals and was awaiting the winner of the tie between Great Britain and Kazakhstan.

"It’s gone to plan so far,” Skupski said of his team's run to the knockout stage. “We’ve put the work in, and it’s gone really well. Germany tomorrow is a tough match, but we’re just really happy to get out of the group."
