Great Britain's Andy Murray is expected to play his doubles match either on Centre Court or Court 1 as the Wimbledon organizers are worried that there could be problems getting the former world No. 1 to a more distant court.
Murray, a two-time Wimbledon champion, recently returned from a hip resurfacing surgery as he won it all at the Queen's Club alongside Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in his first tournament in six months.
The 32-year-old Briton will partner 2016 Wimbledon doubles champion Pierre-Hugues Herbert at The All England Club as the two have been drawn to meet Romania's Marius Copil and Ugo Humbert of France in the first round.
"One of the major considerations for Andy, I think first match in particular, is safety," Chief Executive Richard Lewis said, per The Daily Mail.
"That restricts the number of courts he can be on. Obviously Centre and One are easy. I think once you get beyond Centre and One, it's more problematic."
Murray is also hoping to play the Wimbledon mixed doubles event but he hasn't yet found a partner as he has been turned down by several WTA players.
