Milan champion Hugo Dellien: I felt nervous and uncomfortable during final

Bolivian tennis player Hugo Dellien admitted to feeling nerves and pressure during his Milan Challenger final match against Serbia's Danilo Petrovic as the Bolivian badly wanted to win it all. 

Dellien, seeded at No. 1, didn't play his best tennis against Petrovic but still managed to claim a straight-set win over the unseeded Serb 7-5 6-4 and to lift his second title of the season at the Challenger level. 

Petrovic led 3-1 after the opening four games of the but that wasn't enough as Dellien recovered from break down to steal the opener. 

Dellien then blew an early second set break but Petrovic failed to stage a comeback as the Bolivian claimed the key break in the ninth game before he served out for the match in the following game. 

"I didn’t feel comfortable on the court today, I was nervous, I had an obligation to win,” Dellien said post-match, per Tennis TourTalk. “There is a big difference between losing in the final and winning the tournament. Despite not having played as I wanted, I fought with the right spirit and this made the difference."

Dellien is now set for a Wimbledon debut, where he will be fighting against Australian John Millman for a place in the second round.
